6th October 2015

Trying not to neglect the blog but with trips, travels, editing, university degree, cycling and work to keep me busy, a lot of time has passed from the last blog post.

I was initially quite organised and writing a lot of posts and scheduling them automatically every 3 days to publish but ended up getting side tracked with other things. I will try to get back to doing that again soon. I have enough images so no real excuses.

The image below is from a recent trip to Italy and a visit to an abandoned asylum or “Mancomio” as they are known. The morgue was the only part of this building that was worth the wait in the early morning light for. Bags of atmosphere and an interesting subject made for a nice set of photos that I still have to process.

After this we had a long morning of dodging between all the different derelict buildings in this complex to get to the theatre which was on the other side and avoiding anyone who was working onsite.

'Bring out your dead'

Thanks for looking in.
