1940s reenactment – the singer

Over a weekend in July every year, Blaenavon’s Heritage Railway in South Wales hosts it’s 1940’s weekend.

Steam trains are operated by various locomotives originally built for the War Department  to help transport everyone back in time to the Second World War.

The following series of images show some of the photos taken at this years event.

This was a wartime singer who performed alongside the platform whilst the trains were running up and down the lines.
