Music School Pripyat

22nd May 2014

Part of our first day before arriving at the Hospital MSCh 126 in Pripyat was a visit to the Music School which could be found when walking along from the Prometheus Cinema towards Lenin Square.

It was unheard of in 1970’s to have a dedicated music school but with a thriving music scene this school was established.

The main auditorium held a fairly good condition piano and many people photograph it but it is still an iconic shot.

'Turn on, Tune in, Drop out'Thanks for looking in.
