One in a series of Bokeh images…….the theatre

29th August 2013

Another in the series on Bokeh and some of my favourite images.

This was taken on a permission visit to a local old, historical theatre/cinema in South Wales. We were given access to all areas of the cinema including the projection room. The new digital projector superceded the old one. The latter was banished to one corner of the already cramped room.

I am more drawn towards the older one with more history as the newer digital projector was a lifeless, dull box with a computer attached and not something you would photograph over and over again. So we huddled mostly around this.

One of the photographs is below with another of my images taken that day. Both taken with the 50mm F1.4, used wide open.

The rest of the photos can be viewed at my Flickr Photostream. There are a few more to come.

Thanks for reading.
