Archive Dipping – Blists Hill

October 2011.

We went out with the aim of capturing sunrise and later on, visiting this great place which was a working, living, breathing Victorian village.

Blists Hill Victorian Town is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums. The museum was created for all people of all ages to experience life in a Victorian town.

We arrived as they were opening and spent a good few hours wandering the streets and photographing what we saw and experienced. A few of the photos have been collated and are presented below. The rest of the photos can be found on my Flickr stream here
